I’ve got to see Night Ranger a few times over the years and they have never disappointed. And this night, was no exception to that. These guys are true rock and roll veterans. They know just what to do each night to get the crowd up and moving.

And when you have a classic catalog of songs that are one everyone’s favorite lists, it gets even easier. It was be easy for them to phone it in and just go through the motions. That’s just not who they are. I’ve been listening to these guys since I was in high school, so to be able to see them on stage and still killing it night after night, is pretty awesome.

Vocalist and bass player Jack Blades has the all the energy that he has always had running all over the stage and still sounds great belting out the hits. And I love that he incorporates some Damn Yankees hits into the setlist. Those songs deserve to be played live. On this night it was Coming of Age, Come Again, and High Enough. Of course there were plenty of Night Ranger hits to be played. And they played all the biggest hits and a few deep cuts. Drummer Kelly Keagy singing Sister Christian, Sing Me Away, Sentimental Street, all crowd favorites. Throw in Don’t Tell Me You Love Me, When You Close Your Eyes, and the set closer on this night- You Can Still Rock in America, it’s safe to say that no one went home disappointed.

As a band they still sound amazing. Brad Gillis still killing in on guitar, as is Keri Kelli. And Eric Levy on keyboards to round out the group. All amazing musicians and seem to genuinely enjoying playing each night. They don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Which is a good thing for rock and roll.
